Het is vandaag exact twintig jaar geleden dat Ayrton Senna om het leven kwam na een zware crash op het circuit van Imola. De Braziliaan beleefde zijn hoogtijdagen in de Formule 1 bij McLaren. In 1988 reed hij voor de Britse renstal in de kwalificatie in Monaco mogelijk een van de beste ronden uit de geschiedenis van deze sport. Senna was maar liefst 1,4 seconde sneller dan teamgenoot Alain Prost. McLaren produceerde dit korte portret van die dag, ter nagedachtenis aan Senna.
