Mercedes huurt sportpsycholoog in als consultant

Het team van Mercedes heeft de hulp ingeroepen van sportpsycholoog Ceri Evans. Deze voormalig voetbalspeler werkte in het verleden succesvol samen met de Nieuw-Zeelandse rugbyploeg. Hij moet zorgen dat de teamleden van Mercedes bestand zijn tegen de druk.

Dat meldt The Telegraph. Evans woonde de Grand Prix van China bij en observeerde daar de engineers en monteurs van Mercedes. Hij staat bij de Duitse renstal op de loonlijst als consultant. Coureurs Lewis Hamilton en Nico Rosberg hebben nog niet direct met Evans te maken gehad.
