Brawn: "Bezoekje aan Ferrari hoorde bij mijn vakantie"

Ross Brawn heeft de verhalen over een aanstaande terugkeer naar Ferrari afgezwakt. De Brit is maandag gesignaleerd in de buurt van Maranello, in Fiorano om precies te zijn. Daar doet Brawn ook niet geheimzinnig over, hij was eerder deze week op het testcircuit van de Scuderia.

Het maakte onderdeel uit van een rondreis door Italië met een groep vrienden, benadrukt Brawn tegenover BBC Sport. "Het hoorde bij mijn vakantie, meer niet. We hebben twee productie-auto's van Ferrari aan de tand gevoeld en ons plan is om een deel van het parkoers van de Mille Miglia te volgen en zoveel mogelijk wijngaarden te bezoeken."

Een woordvoerder van Ferrari bevestigde dat Brawn met vrienden op reis is en dat het al lang in de planning stond dat hij langs zou komen. De voormalig technisch directeur bij de Scuderia gaf aan Gazzetta dello Sport ook aan dat het open en bloot gecommuniceerd is.
