Vitantonio Liuzzi ziet Red Bull Racing over het hoofd

Vitantonio Liuzzi acht het voor zijn team Force India mogelijk om dit jaar voor de vierde plek bij de constructeurs te gaan. De Italiaan verwacht dat de titelstrijd gaat tussen McLaren, Ferrari en Mercedes GP. Zijn oude werkgever Red Bull Racing hoort blijkbaar dus niet bij de kandidaten.

Liuzzi vertelde aan 422race.com: McLaren, Mercedes GP en Ferrari zijn zeker de favorieten en ik denk dat die teams uitmaken wie zich tot kampioen kroont. Ik denk dat wij van Force India daar direct achter kunnen zitten. Het podium is misschien te hoog gegrepen, maar regelmatig punten pakken behoort absoluut tot de mogelijkheden.

Wij zijn vol vertrouwen na de afgelopen testsessies. De VJM03 is goed geboren en wordt alsmaar beter. In Barcelona introduceren we veel ontwikkelingen met het oog op Bahrein. Het is moeilijk om in te schatten wat andere teams tijdens de tests doen. Dus voor de echte verhoudingen dienen we te wachten op de eerste race, maar Force India verkeert in goede vorm.
