Baguette: "Kleine kans dat ik bij de eerste race op de grid sta"

Bertrand Baguette is nog altijd druk bezig met een poging om toe te treden tot de Formule 1. De Belg, vorig jaar kampioen in de World Series by Renault, is volgens de geruchten in beeld bij Campos Meta 1. Baguette erkent dat de kans klein is dat het hem lukt om een racestoeltje te bemachtigen, maar hij geeft niet op.

De Formule 1 is mijn doel. Er is nog steeds een kleine kans dat ik bij de eerste race op de grid sta, maar mijn budget is niet hoog genoeg. En sponsors willen pas bijspringen als ik een Formule 1-contract bezit, terwijl teams me pas willen aantrekken als ik geld meebreng. De Superleague Formula, IRL IndyCars en GP2 vormen alternatieve opties, maar ik heb nog niets besloten, aldus de 24-jarige coureur.
