Lorenzo Bandini-trofee gaat dit jaar naar Daniel Ricciardo

Red Bull Racing-coureur Daniel Ricciardo won afgelopen weekend niet alleen zijn eerste Grand Prix, hij kreeg tevens te horen dat hij de gelukkige winnaar van de Lorenzo Bandini-trofee is. Die prijs wordt elk jaar uitgereikt aan een beloftevolle coureur.

Ricciardo schaart zich in een illuster rijtje namen als Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen en Lewis Hamilton. De Australiër zal de award in augustus ophalen in Brisighella, waar Bandini woonde totdat hij in 1967 in Monaco om het leven kwam.
