'Ungar voegt zich spoedig als technisch directeur bij Caterham'

Gerhard Ungar zal de gelederen van Caterham binnenkort versterken. Dat schrijft journalist Joe Saward op zijn blog. Ungar is de voormalig directeur van HWA, dat namens Mercedes in de DTM actief is. Hij werd maandag gesignaleerd bij de fabriek van Caterham.

Voor Ungar ligt een contract als technisch directeur klaar bij de Maleisische renstal. Nieuwe teambaas Christijan Albers kent hem nog uit zijn DTM-periode. Ungar droeg in de toerwagenklasse bij aan 170 zeges en negen constructeurskampioenschappen voor Mercedes-Benz.
