Historische Formule 1-wagens in voorprogramma in Singapore

De organisatie van de Grand Prix van Singapore heeft het programma uitgebreid met de Masters Historic Formula One. Dat betekent dat in het voorprogramma van de Formule 1-race een wedstrijd met wagens uit de periode van 1966 tot en met 1985 op de rol staat.

Een selectie van twintig oude Formule 1-auto's zal zich voorafgaand aan de Grand Prix onder het kunstlicht aan het publiek presenteren. Ron Maydon, oprichter van de Masters Historic Formula One: "We brengen twintig iconische bolides uit de historie van de Formule 1 naar Singapore. Het betreft de eerste keer dat de fans in Singapore deze klassiekers in actie zullen zien. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat ze zullen genieten van het uiterlijk en het geluid van deze oude wagens, een versnelde les over de geschiedenis van deze sport voordat de echte Grand Prix van start gaat."
