Acceleration 2014 schrapt races voor ronde in Hongarije

De organisatie van Acceleration 2014 heeft besloten om de race-activiteiten voor het weekend in Hongarije te annuleren. Voor de ronde op de Hungaroring konden ze niet voldoende coureurs op de been brengen. Het muzikale feestje, de 80's en 90's party met David Hasselhoff, in de avond van vrijdag 29 augustus gaat wel door.

Door de geschrapte races blijft alleen het weekend in Assen nog over, van 17 tot en met 19 oktober. In een persbericht staat: "Op 17, 18 en 19 oktober beleeft Acceleration 2014 haar finale op het TT circuit in Assen. Dit internationale race- en muziekfestival heeft daarmee zeven rondes gehad in haar eerste seizoen. Gericht op families, brengt Acceleration drie dagen van spannende races en muziekoptredens, met de Amerikaanse acteur David Hasselhoff als presentator van de vrijdagavond."

"Acceleration is een compleet nieuwe benadering van races en hoe deze aan haar fans gepresenteerd worden. Getalenteerde rijders laten in verschillende raceklassen zien wat ze waard zijn, waardoor er een groot spektakel ontstaat op het circuit. De combinatie met andere activiteiten in de paddock maken Acceleration 2014 het perfecte evenement om te bezoeken met het gezin."
