Project Brabham al op de helft van eerste crowdfunding-doel

Het gaat hard met Project Brabham. Binnen drieënhalve dag hadden ze via crowdfunding al de helft van het eerste doel van 250.000 pond opgehaald. Meer dan 1500 mensen investeerden reeds in het project om de naam Brabham terug te laten keren in de autosport. In eerste instantie met een LMP2-bolide in het World Endurance Championship, maar voor de lange termijn is Formule 1 de ambitie.

David Brabham, zoon van Jack Brabham en initiator van dit project: "De respons op Project Brabham is echt verbluffend geweest. Als je zoiets lanceert hoop je dat de mensen langzaam maar zeker aan het idee wennen en zich erachter zouden scharen, maar we hadden nooit durven dromen over de snelheid waarmee het nu gaat. De kans is groot dat we onze doelen spoedig kunnen verleggen."

"De reacties van over de hele wereld via social media, de mail of op onze Indiegogo crowdfunding-pagina zijn overweldigend. We zijn met een kleine groep, maar we proberen alle feedback aan te horen en te bekijken en we waarderen het geduld dat jullie met ons hebben. Simpel gezegd, hoe meer mensen bij ons project betrokken raken, des te eerder kunnen we racen."
