Superleague Formula: Doornbos vindt onderdak bij Corinthians

Robert Doornbos heeft zijn raceplannen voor 2010 bekend gemaakt. De Nederlander gaat rijden in de Superleague Formula. Niet namens de Nederlandse club PSV, maar voor het Braziliaanse Corinthians. Doornbos kon nog meer goed nieuws presenteren. Flogs.com blijft hem trouw als persoonlijke sponsor.

Doornbos: "Na het evalueren van vele opties voor 2010 heb ik besloten om het aanbod van Wim Coekelbergs en Azerti Racing om voor Corinthians te racen in de Superleague Formula te accepteren. Azerti was vorig jaar zeer sterk en het is een eer om voor een van de grootste voetbalclubs ter wereld uit te komen. Na een jaar zonder veel successen in Amerika wil ik weer races winnen."

"Het hoofdstuk Amerika heb ik trouwens nog niet afgesloten. De Superleague Formula is zeer competitief met veel voormalig Formule 1-coureurs. Ik verheug me op de eerste race over twee weken. Ik wil Azerti bedanken voor hun geloof in mijn kwaliteiten en ik ben ook een bedankje verschuldigd aan mijn trouwe partners en fans voor hun steun."
