Ryan Sharp tekent voor GP2

Ryan Sharp werd vorig jaar tweede in het Formule Renualt V6 Eurocup kampioenschap achter de Italiaan Giorgio Mondini en heeft nu als eerste Engelsman een contract getekend in de GP2. Ryan Sharp heeft getekend bij het team David Price Racing.

Langzamerhand begint de GP2 een veld van rijders te krijgen. Echter er zijn ook problemen aangezien het budget van de teams voor een seizoen gestegen is van 1 naar 1.5 miljoen. Dit neemt met zich mee dat de rijders meer geld mee moeten nemen. Het schijnt dat Nico Rosberg nog steeds aan het zoeken is naar meer geld.

Op het moment zijn er nog steeds geen signalen van de teams Super Nova Racing, Coloni noch Durango Racing. Over Arden en het nieuwe franse ART zijn er alleen geruchten over bekend.
