Auto GP beloont kampioen met een Formule 1-test

De Auto GP voegt een Formule 1-test toe aan het prijzenpakket voor degene die de titel wint. Dat heeft de organisatie van de klasse bekend gemaakt. De Auto GP is in 2015 toe aan het zesde seizoen. Enzo Coloni is de drijvende kracht achter deze serie.

De Auto GP reduceert de kalender van acht naar zeven ontmoetingen om kosten te besparen. Het gemiddelde budget dat nodig is voor een seizoen in deze klasse bedraagt 400.000 euro. De Auto GP is vooral te bewonderen in het voorprogramma van het World Touring Car Championship.

Coloni: "We hebben hard gewerkt om de Auto GP de beste optie voor coureurs met aspiraties te maken door de performance van het pakket te verbeteren, het benodigde budget laag te houden en voor veel media exposure door onze connectie met Eurosport te zorgen."

"Al deze kenmerken zijn belangrijk voor jonge rijders die hopen door te stoten richting de Formule 1. Om dat programma te ondersteunen stellen onze dynamische simulator beschikbaar aan alle deelnemers. Op die manier kunnen ze zich beter voorbereiden op de races."
