Williams introduceert in China eigen versie van F-duct

Het team van Williams is net als onder andere Mercedes GP, Ferrari en Force India bezig met de ontwikkeling van een eigen variant van de F-duct, een vondst van McLaren. De Britse renstal wil het onderdeel bij de Grand Prix van China op de FW32 introduceren.

Sauber had in Melbourne al een eigen versie van de F-duct, maar het leverde de Zwitserse renstal geen punten op. Renault doet niet mee met de trend. De Franse renstal gelooft niet in het voordeel van de F-duct, Williams wel. Technisch directeur Sam Michael tegenover Auto Motor und Sport: "In Sjanghai zullen wij een soortgelijk onderdeel op onze auto hebben."
