Loris Hezemans enige Nederlander in Audi TT Cup

Het deelnemersveld voor de nieuwe Audi TT Cup is bekend gemaakt. Tussen de achttien coureurs staat één Nederlander. Loris Hezemans, zoon van Toine Hezemans, verdedigt komend seizoen de Hollandse eer in deze nieuwe klasse.

Stephane Kox ontving ook een uitnodiging, maar zij kreeg het budget niet rond om daarvan gebruik te maken. Een jury bestaande uit Markus Winkelhock, Marco Werner en Sepp Haider selecteerde de coureurs voor het eerste jaar in de Audi TT Cup.

Het resultaat is een divers startveld, met vijftien heren en drie dames. De jongste deelnemer is de pas 16-jarige Joonas Lappalainen. Josh Caygill is met 25 jaar de oudste deelnemer. Naast de vaste deelnemers doen elk weekend ook nog zes gastrijders mee.
