Motorprobleem voor Webber, Vettel ontevreden over tempo

Het was wederom geen beste dag voor Red Bull Racing. De betrouwbaarheid speelde de Oostenrijkse renstal opnieuw parten, maar ook de snelheid baart coureur Sebastian Vettel zorgen. De polesitter uit de eerste twee races is niet tevreden.

Vettel: "Ik ben niet honderd procent blij vandaag, we zijn niet snel genoeg. McLaren en Mercedes gingen erg hard, en Ferrari oogde sterk in de lange runs. Het is afwachten. We moeten nog zien waar we staan. Hopelijk halen we weer Q3 en presteren we daarin optimaal om zo ver mogelijk van voren te starten."

Teamgenoot Mark Webber kreeg met een motorprobleem te maken. "Dat kostte ons veel tijd en dat wil je nooit, maar de auto voelde verder vrij goed. Het is niet ideaal om een motor te verliezen, maar dat is ons gebeurd. Deze V8 had al aardig wat kilometers achter zijn naam."
