Twee overwinningen zou succes zijn voor Ferrari

Ferrari-teambaas Maurizio Arrivabene zal naar eigen zeggen 'de heuvels van Maranello op blote voeten beklimmen' wanneer het team er komend seizoen in slaagt vier races te winnen. Ferrari doet het goed tijdens de tests, maar volgens Arrivabene is het doel om twee races te winnen in 2015.

"Mijn doel is om het team opnieuw op te bouwen en om een kalme sfeer te creëren", aldus Arrivabene. "Ik moet er voor zorgen dat de toewijding die ik zie bij ieder teamlid wordt beloond met goede resultaten. We houden beide benen op de grond en zoals ik al zei in december, als we twee races winnen, dan zie ik dat als een succes. Drie zou perfect zijn en als we er vier winnen, ren ik op blote voeten de heuvels van Maranello op."

"We hebben twee fantastische rijders die ook nog eens goed bevriend zijn. Daar kan het hele team van profiteren. Ik wil nog maar eens benadrukken dat het belangrijkste voor ons is om nu samen naar een gezamenlijk doel te werken met de toewijding die ik in de ogen zag van alle teamleden op 24 en 31 december."

"Ik heb gezien dat er fantastische mensen werken in Maranello en iedere individu levert een bijdrage. Het is duidelijk dat een auto niet behoort tot één persoon, maar tot Ferrari en alle mensen die daarbij horen."

    Nogmaals, geen gedonder en rijden met die hap. Wij zijn Ferrari en wij verliezen altijd als we niet winnen...

    Oké even serieus nu; gezien waar we vandaan komen zou 4 overwinningen inderdaad heel knap zijn. Echter, met de mensen, financien en coureurs tot Ferrari's beschikking vind ik dat een of meerdere overwinning altijd een realistisch doel mag zijn. Laten we wel wezen, deze auto is helemaal van de hand van Allison. Daarnaast heeft Ferrari 1 jaar de tijd gehad om hun PU te upgraden, wat toch aanzienlijke verbetering moet opleveren.

    Met andere woorden; ze moeten zichzelf niet klein gaan praten nu, kampioenschappen blijven het doel!

      Klopt helemaal, maar ik heb liever dit realisme dan dat Ferrari opnieuw op zijn bek gaat na grote woorden. Mercedes bouwt verder op een dominante auto, dat effect zal niet 1, 2, 3 weg zijn.

      Maar het optimisme doet me in ieder geval goed. Ferrari lijkt eindelijk weer een léúk, optimistisch team te zijn. De komst van Vettel zal daar ook een flinke bijdrage aan hebben geleverd. En wat is het heerlijk om Kimi weer lol te zien trappen terwijl hij ondertussen zonder afstellingsproblemen de ronden aan elkaar rijgt! :-)

      Hopeijk blijft de hoesana stemming als het effe tegen zit of wanneer de prestaties bij de echte start toch enigzins tegenvallen.

      En anderzijds, waarom toch alvast een underdog positie innemen voor het wk?
      In vind dat een teken van zwakte en geen geloof in eigen kunnen voor voor het succesvolste team ooit. Waarom zouden zij niet iets kunnen bedenken als Mercedes? Mercedes heeft daar toch geen patent op?
      Als je met zo'n instelling al wil starten dan wordt het meestal ook niks

      Omdat ze in tegenstelling tot vooral Mercedes vrijwel from scratch beginnen, zowel qua organisatie als materieel. Zoiets heeft vaak tijd nodig, een beetje (wel vechtlustig) realisme kan dan gewn kwaad.

    Realistisch doel denk ik. Denk ook niet dat we meer mogen verwachten dit seizoen van Ferrari dan 2 overwinningen en misschien vechten om podiumplaatsen. Dat er zoveel optimisme en motivatie in het team heerst nu en ze echt als een team samenwerken doet mij als Ferrari supporter erg goed om te horen! Toch heb ik het gevoel dat ze dit jaar alsnog misschien voor een verrassing kunnen gaan zorgen. Laat het seizoen maar beginnen!
