Ecclestone: "Voorwaarden in Duitsland bekend"

Bernie Ecclestone is niet bereid om water bij de wijn te doen om de Grand Prix van Duitsland koste wat het kost op de kalender voor 2015 te houden. De organisatoren weten waar ze aan toe zijn. Dit weekend verwacht Ecclestone een definitief antwoord van de Nürburgring en de Hockenheimring.

Aan persbureau DPA liet de commerciële baas van de Formule 1 weten: "Als iemand een concert, een tenniswedstrijd of wat dan ook wil organiseren, dan weten ze aan welke voorwaarden ze moeten voldoen. Als ze daar niet aan kunnen voldoen, dan gebeurt het niet. De voorwaarden voor een Grand Prix zijn bekend in Duitsland. Nu is de vraag of ze daaraan kunnen voldoen."

"De Duitse markt is zo groot, je zou toch denken dat ze geen enkele moeite zouden moeten hebben met het organiseren van een Formule 1-race. Ik snap niet waarom het in Duitsland zo moeizaam gaat, het is heel vreemd."

Zal er wel niet aan liggen maar ik was vorige zomer op vakantie in Duitsland en heb daar de Hongaarse GP gezien, wat een ongelooflijke hoeveelheid reclame zeg.

Ik zou als ik in Duitsland had gewoond zeker gaan streamen of stoppen met kijken.

    Zal er wel niet aan liggen maar ik was vorige zomer op vakantie in Duitsland en heb daar de Hongaarse GP gezien, wat een ongelooflijke hoeveelheid reclame zeg.

    Ik zou als ik in Duitsland had gewoond zeker gaan streamen of stoppen met kijken.

    Goh, misschien omdat jij alweer hebt besloten dat de prijs voor het hosten van een grand prix voor Duitsland omhoog moest, IEDER JAAR? Vuile smeerlap is het. Een land als Quatar en Azerbidjan hebben idd geen enkele moeite om deze prijs te betalen, want daar zijn het de old boys die via corrupte wegen het geld naar Bernie brengen, ongeacht de markt die er aanwezig is. Ga snel onder de grond aub, je maakt de sport gewoon kapot voor haar echte fans.

      Ik wacht ook al een tijdje totdat hij dood is, maar tot noch toe tevergeefs.

      Het zou waarschijnlijk ook niets uitmaken of hij op die plaats zit of niet. Hij werkt gewoon in opdracht van. Gaat hij vandaag dood staat er morgen één op die gewoon verdergaat waar Ecclestone is gebleven. Op ten duur is dat het doodvonnis voor de sport.

    Tijd voor iemand met een hart voor de sport en niet alleen voor zijn geldbeugel.
    In tijde dat het wat moeizamer gaat moet iedereen toegevingen doen.
    Ook als je Ecclestone noemt en er geen boterham minder moet voor eten.

    De enige voorwaarden zouden moeten zijn dat Duitsland samen met Engeland en Italie de bakermat van de F1 vormt en als zij een veilige race op een volwaardig modern circuit kunnen organiseren, zou er dus ieder jaar een GP plaats moeten vinden. Punt.
