Lewis Hamilton: "Ik voel me sterker dan ooit"

Mercedes-coureur Lewis Hamilton is er klaar voor om zijn titel te verdedigen. Samen met zijn team hoopt de Brit het succesvolle afgelopen seizoen te evenaren, al zal dat een hele opgave worden. Hamilton verwacht in 2015 een intens gevecht, in elk geval met teamgenoot Nico Rosberg.

"Het veld bestaat uit veel sterke coureurs en allemaal willen ze winnen. Het is aan mij om het net iets meer te willen dan zij. Ik voel me fris, ik voel me fit, ik voel me ontspannen, ik voel me positief. Ik ben er klaar voor. Ik voel me sterker dan ooit. Elk jaar groei je als rijder, ik ben van plan om beter te zijn dan ik ooit ben geweest", aldus Hamilton.

"Het team heeft deze winter hard gewerkt en ik vond het prettig om iedereen in de fabriek nog even te begroeten voordat ik naar Australië afreisde. Vorig seizoen was uitmuntend en dat zouden we graag herhalen. Maar de jacht op ons is geopend, ik weet zeker dat de competitie stevig zal zijn. Dat geeft niet, ik hou er wel van om voor posities te knokken en de fans zien dat ook het liefst."

    Vond dit ook wel een mooi stukje:

    "Ik ben ouder geworden, meer volwassen. Daarnaast is mijn mindset volledig anders dan een paar jaar geleden. Ik zit nog in de flow van vorig jaar, daardoor wist ik deze lastige winter redelijk goed door te komen. Ik heb vaker in deze situatie gezeten en ik ben er sterker van geworden. Ik laat tegenwoordig mijn problemen thuis, het zal me op de baan niet beïnvloeden."

      Ik vind het helemaal geen mooi stukje. Gesneden koek.

      Hamilton kan alleen maar verliezen. Het blijft autosport, er gaan twee auto's voor de titel dit jaar. Hij heeft geluk dat hij momenteel bij het juiste team zit.

      Of is Bottas bijvoorbeeld in 2014 zoveel beter dan 2013. Of ligt dat ook niet aan de auto?

      Ik vermoed dat je niet voor Rosberg bent maar maar ik hoop dat je niet echt te veel van deze, in mijn ogen, onzin leest.

      Het is allemaal makkelijk zeggen als je weet dat het kampioenschap weer tussen twee auto's gaat en je in de basis Nico wel kan verlsaan. Ik denk dat hij alleen maar kan verliezen.

      Daarnaast denk ik ook, maar dat is volledige mijn mening over de persoon zoals ik hem zie uit de media, dat als er druk op komt (echte druk en niet Nico die misschien een keer 25 punten voorstaat) het gewoon weer mis gaat.

      Altijd leuk als stukje van 12:12 er niet op komt.

      Dan opnieuw gaat tikken om 12:22, die er meteen op komt en dan later die van 12:12 nog geplaatst wordt :-(

    Ach ja, het tegendeel verkondigen zou wel erg vreemd zijn.

    Uit met Nicole, hoeveelste keer al?
    Kunnjenhaast niet voorstellen wat in een paar wintermaanden kan gebeuren, immers ze waren zo intens met stromende teanen van Nicole toen Lewis wk werd.
    Tis wat allemaal met die popsterren, ze zijn haast allemaal ongelukkig, of in de liefde of aan de drank of coke of maken huwelijken of mensen kapot.
    Nicole ga ergens anders azen en laat topsporters met rust. Nou dat is eruit en Nicole zal voorlopig een stuk moeilijker slapen
