Van Amersfoort koppelt Newey aan Schumacher

Frits van Amersfoort heeft illustere namen tot zijn beschikking in de Duitse Formule 4 komend seizoen. Na eerder Mick Schumacher, zoon van zevenvoudig wereldkampioen Formule 1 Michael Schumacher, vastgelegd te hebben heeft nu Harrison Newey bij Van Amersfoort Racing getekend.

Harrison Newey is inderdaad de zoon van Adrian Newey, de geniale ontwerper van Red Bull Racing. Newey junior is met zijn 16 jaar een jaartje ouder dan Mick Schumacher. Frits van Amersfoort: "Dit is een van de meest plezierige weken in het bestaan van ons team geweest. We voelen ons vereerd dat grote namen in de autosportwereld ons toevertrouwen met de ontwikkeling van deze jonge en veelbelovende talenten."
