Promotor ontkent in gevaar zijn van Koreaanse Grand Prix

De eerste Grand Prix van Zuid-Korea vindt gewoon zoals gepland op 24 oktober van dit jaar plaats op een nieuw circuit in de buurt van Yeongam-gun. Die reactie geeft racepromotor KAVO op de speculatie dat de race afgelast zou kunnen worden.

KAVO-directeur Yung Cho Chung vertrouwde Autosport toe dat alles op schema ligt. De voortgang van de constructie van ons circuit ligt ver voor op schema en wij voorzien geen problemen met de oplevering. Ik heb begrepen dat Bernie Ecclestone tevreden is. Niet alleen met progressie van de werkzaamheden, maar ook met de richting die de Koreaanse Grand Prix op gaat en hij twijfelt niet of wij op tijd klaar zullen zijn.
