Brawn: "Mercedes GP nog lang niet uitgeschakeld voor de titel"

Red Bull Racing-coureur Mark Webber houdt eigenlijk al geen rekening meer met Mercedes GP voor het kampioenschap, maar Ross Brawn waarschuwt de Australiër en de andere concurrenten. De teambaas van de Duitse renstal schrijft zijn team niet af voor de titel.

In Auto Motor und Sport zegt Brawn: De titelstrijd is nog lang niet beslist en wij zijn nog niet uitgeschakeld. Met het nieuwe puntensysteem kan één weekend een grote impact op het kampioenschap hebben. Nico Rosberg is extreem snel en heeft goede races gereden, vooral in Maleisië. En Michael Schumacher wint elk weekend aan momentum. Beide heren zullen goede resultaten neerzetten zodra wij ze een auto geven die zich aan hun talent spiegelt. Dan zullen ze vooraan staan.
