Bottas start niet in Melbourne door rugblessure

Het deelnemen van Valtteri Bottas aan de Grand Prix van Australië is nog allerminst zeker. De Fin heeft last van zijn rug waardoor hij veel pijn heeft en afgelopen nacht zelfs in het ziekenhuis heeft doorgebracht.

Claire Williams meldde aan Sky Sports dat binnen een half uur de beslissing wordt genomen door Bottas zelf of hij gaat racen of verstek laat gaan. Hij stond in ieder geval niet op de groepsfoto van het begin van het seizoen doordat hij zich liet behandelen voor zijn fysio.

Bottas start niet
Zojuist is bekend gemaakt dat Bottas niet zal starten. Hij is niet door de medische keuring gekomen bij de FIA.
