Hulkenberg noemt situatie Duitse Grand Prix een schande

Nico Hulkenberg betreurt de huidige situatie omtrent de Duitse Grand Prix. De race op het circuit van Hockenheim staat gepland in juli, maar volgens Bernie Ecclestone is de race op dit moment zo goed als dood.

"Wanneer een race gecanceld is, dan is deze gecanceld", verklaarde Ecclestone tegenover F1 Business journalist Christian Sylt. "We kunnen daar weinig aan doen." Wanneer er dit jaar inderdaad geen race in Duitsland is, dan is dat voor de eerste keer in zestig jaar.

Hulkenberg vindt het een schande. "Het is zo jammer", aldus de Force India-coureur tegenover persbureau SID. "Er rijden op dit moment drie Duitse rijders in de Formule 1, er doet een Duitse autofabrikant mee en er is een gigantische historie."

Misschien niet oostblok, maar Bangkok en Azerbeidzjan (wat?) zijn toch echt namen die ik nooit wil horen op een kalender van de F1. Gaat Bernie straks Duitsland en Italië van de kalender gooien, het moet toch niet gekker worden. Ga een beetje de thuisrace van Ferrari en Mercedes van de kalender ... [Lees verder]

    Helaas money talks bij Bernie 2 prachtige circuits in Duitsland en geen 1 waar ze rijden. Helaas wordt het steeds meer oostblok landen :(

      Hoezo steeds meer Oostbloklanden? Hongarije rijden we al héél lang en pas sinds vorig jaar is er ook een race in Rusland. Verder niets in het hele Oostblok. Dus wat wil je nou eigenlijk zeggen?

      @NBTT: Klopt niet helemaal natuurlijk. De teams klagen en klagen, maar op het moment dat van hen actie wordt gevraagd om bijvoorbeeld de kosten te reduceren dan willen ze ineens helemaal niet meer samenwerken.
