Ferrari druk met verhuizing van de Formule 1-afdeling

Ferrari is druk bezig met de verhuizing van de Formule 1-afdeling. Sinds 2010 is er in Maranello het idee om de chassis -en motorafdeling onder één dak te brengen, en nu wordt daar aan gewerkt. De huidige Formule 1-afdeling van Ferrari stamt nog uit 1947.

Volgens teambaas Maurizio Arrivabene is men momenteel druk bezig met de verhuizing, al zou men zich liever richten op het verslaan van Mercedes. "Het is verre van ideaal, maar wat kun je doen?", aldus Arrivabene. "Het zal ongeveer drie tot vier maanden duren voordat iedere engineer verhuisd is."

Volgens Bild am Sonntag is de nieuwe fabriek 25.000 vierkante meter groot en biedt het complex plaats aan 700 werknemers. Ook is er een nieuwe simulator aanwezig en een testbank voor de hybride-motor ter waarde van 40 miljoen euro. De totale kosten van de nieuwe fabriek zijn onbekend.

    Goed uitgekozen moment om dat te doen :) Hadden ze beter in 1 van de voorgaande jaren kunnen doen waarin het seizoen niet meer te redden viel.

      in mijn ogen is dit jaar dus Het moment om dit te doen, sinds dit jaar een totaal vernieuwd team na de reorganisatie, en aangezien je dit jaar ook nog geen WK kan worden, prepereren ze zich zo goed mogelijk voor voor 2016 en daarna

      Zoals RF ook al zegt, dit is het jaar van de veranderingen, volgend jaar voor de titel. Verhuizen komt altijd slecht uit en dit is dan wel het beste moment.
