De Brit Johnny Herbert reed 12 seizoenen in de Formule 1. Waar hij zijn carriere begon bij Benetton sloot hij die af bij Jaguar. Tijdens zijn laatste race als Formule 1-coureur crashte hij echter in de derde bocht van het circuit Sepang.

Herinneren we ons deze crash nog? Herbert hield er lichte verwondingen aan over aan zijn benen.

Tuurlijk ken ik deze ook nog... Herbert was altijd de coureur die halverwege, aan het begin of tegen het einde van de race aan de pers vertelde waarom hij nu weer was uitgevallen. Begrijp me niet verkeerd, maar deze vriendelijke man heeft bij mij het stempel van verkeerde teams en gigantisch veel... [Lees verder]
