Stiefbroer Schumacher op passagierslijst neergestort vliegtuig

De stiefbroer van Michael en Ralf Schumacher, Sebastian Stahl, stond op de passagierslijst van het neergestorte Germanwings vliegtuig dat afgelopen week neerkwam in Frankrijk. De 36-jarige touring car-coureur was in Barcelona voor een fotoshoot.

Stahl was tijdens het noodlottige ongeval echter alweer in Duitsland: "Ja, ik leef nog. Ik ben 24 uur eerder dan gepland teruggegaan naar Duitsland, met hetzelfde vliegtuig dat een dag later neerstortte. We vlogen zelfs over dezelfde bergen heen."

"Omdat het zondag erg hard regende hebben wij erover nagedacht één dag langer in Barcelona te blijven, wat zou hebben betekend dat wij vlucht 9525 hadden genomen. Ik heb ontzettend veel geluk gehad."
