Robert de Niro gecast voor rol van Enzo Ferrari

Robert de Niro kruipt voor een film over Enzo Ferrari in de huid van de oprichter van het beroemde Italiaanse merk. In Il Messaggero zegt de acteur dat deze rol momenteel zijn prioriteit geniet. De productie van de film start binnenkort, de release staat gepland voor 2016.

De Niro: "Voor mij is het een eer en een plezier om het levensverhaal van een revolutionair persoon in de wereld van de automobiel te vertellen." Producent Gianni Bozzacchi voegt toe: "De film krijgt de titel 'Ferrari' en heeft een epische verhaallijn. Er is een groot budget en we besteden aandacht aan een grote periode uit zijn leven, van 1945 tot de jaren tachtig. Daarin hebben zich wel de nodige episodes en gebeurtenissen afgespeeld."

    gaaf dat Robert de Niro deze rol gaat vertolken! blijft een super acteur...

    Natuurlijk in meesterwerken geschitterd, maar de laatste decennia vooral in vlutfilms waarbij het lijkt of hij in 1 rol is blijven hangen en het method-acting compleet vergeten is

    Jammer dat ze pas vanaf 1945 de geschiedenis gaan volgen. De jaren daarvoor waren juist erg interessant en laten zien dat hij echt met niks is begonnen.

      Mooi plan.
      Echter, zodra er Hollywood figuren bij betrokken zijn vrees ik het ergste en komt er mogelijk een vreselijke Amerikaanse hamburgersaus over de film..
      Hopelijk kunnen ze het verhaal integer en interessant brengen dan ga ik hem zeker kijken!

      Ben ook benieuwd of ze de vete met Lamborghini ook in het verhaal betrekken. Ook in dat verhaal heeft Enzo een belangrijke rol gespeeld.
