Richard Lapthorne verlaat McLaren Group

Richard Lapthorne treedt terug als niet uitvoerende voorzitter van de McLaren Group. Lapthorne voegde zich vorig jaar april bij McLaren nadat Ron Dennis afscheid nam van de Formule 1.

Lapthorne heeft het gevoel dat zijn werk er op zit. Vorig jaar april hadden we een waslijst aan kwesties. Ron en het team hebben die uitmuntend afgehandeld en nu de productie-auto afdeling klaar is, is mijn werk klaar, zegt hij in de Times.
