Ronkende eerste recensies over game F1 2015

De nieuwe Formule 1-game van Codemasters krijgt steeds meer een eigen gezicht. Gisteren publiceerde de uitgever al een foto van hoe de cover voor het spel eruit gaat zien en nu druppelen de eerste recensies over F1 2015 binnen. Die previews zijn over het algemeen zeer positief. Hier een bloemlezing van een aantal gamesites.

Red Bull Games: "Het remmen voelt anders aan. Op de baan gedrukt door een ongehoorde hoeveelheid downforce voelt het sturen van onze Mercedes zwaar aan. Als we op de rem trappen en vaart minderen komt daar echter snel verandering in. Het resultaat? De auto is veel nerveuzer in de langzame bochten en dwingt je om te vertrouwen op mechanische grip. Daardoor is de wagen beter te begrijpen voor echte racers."

Trustedreviews.com: "We zijn bijna op een punt aanbeland dat ik niet meer kan beschrijven hoe indrukwekkend F1 2015 visueel gezien is. Superlatieven schieten tekort en zouden de game onrecht aandoen. Kijk alleen maar naar de screenshots die verspreid zijn en dan zie je zelf hoe realistisch de locaties en auto's ogen. Maar je moet het spelen om het te geloven."

Pocket-lint.com: "Zelfs na de korte speelsessie die we gehad hebben is het duidelijk dat F1 2015 een grote stap vooruit is ten opzichte van zijn voorgangers. Dan hebben we het over elk aspect voor het nabootsen van de Formule 1-ervaring op de (spel)computer. Dat was ook wel te verwachten op de next-gen consoles en die verwachting komt gelukkig uit."

Teamvvv.com: "Met een indrukwekkend uiterlijk, verbeterd rijgedrag en betere audio biedt F1 2015 een compleet en mooi pakket. Maar dat is niet alles. Dit jaar is het mogelijk om de actie terug te kijken in de replay met commentaar van David Croft en Anthony Davidson, die duizenden zinnen hebben ingesproken. Dat kan een epische aanwinst voor de serie zijn."

In het kader van realisme: zou de virtuele Renault motor er 3 rondjes voor het einde ook mee ophouden in F1 2015?

  Ergens heb ik gelezen dat de resultaten in het seizoen ook een beetje de resultaten van het spel zullen zijn. Dus Bijvoorbeeld dat Button ineens laat in de Chinese GP Ver voor Maldonado rijdt.

Ze mogen wel eens wat aan de AI doen, is nog steeds tragisch slecht. Moet je voor de grap eens het antieke Grand Prix 4 erbij pakken uit 2002 !!! , zoveel beter.

Ziet er leuk uit verder, maar blijft gewoon arcade. Schademodel mag ook wel een update hebben.

  A.I. zal altijd een ondergeschoven kindje blijven in dit soort series van games. Ze hebben er gewoon geen tijd voor, al die nieuwe modellen, hier en daar nieuwe circuits, testen en het maken van een vernieuwende interface snoept zoveel tijd op dat daar in een jaar gewoon geen tijd voor is. Wel jammer inderdaad, maar het grote publiek wil 1337 graphics :-) Heb delen 2010 en 2011 gekocht en daarna de serie links laten liggen, misschien dat ik hem nu weer aanschaf, ben er nog niet over uit.

  De term total-los mag Codemasters zich helaas niet aan wagen. De FOM (afgever van de licentie) wil niet dat de wagens zwaar beschadigd getoond worden. Dit op verzoek van de teams en (vooral) hun sponsors.
  
  Dus helemaal realistisch zal het nooit worden.

Baal er wel flink van dat de career mode eruit is! Dan wel in ruil dat je met een bestaande coureur podiums en interviews hebt... Hopelijk kan F1 2016 ze toch combineren. Een custom coureur was wel leuk.
