Personeel Williams verdeelde bonus van 3 miljoen

Het team van Williams heeft na het succesvol verlopen vorig seizoen een bonus van 3 miljoen dollar uitgekeerd aan het personeel. Dat bericht brengen Britse kranten. Williams maakte gisteren bekend dat het over 2014 een verlies van bijna 35 miljoen pond had geleden.

De bonus voor de 660 werknemers bedroeg 4.500 dollar per persoon, melden The Times en The Telegraph. Door de verbeterde sportieve prestaties graaide Williams een groter deel uit de televisiepot. Daarvan is deze bonus voor het personeel betaald.

Vice-teambaas Claire Williams zegt in de Daily Mail: "Onze rode cijfers zijn niet symptomatisch voor de malaise in de Formule 1. Het is het gevolg van onze magere prestaties in de afgelopen jaren. Maar we raken hier niet van in de war of in paniek."
