Kvyat: "Hoog tijd dat Renault actie onderneemt"

Red Bull Racing-coureur Daniil Kvyat heeft bij Renault aangedrongen op maatregelen. De Rus was in de eerste vier Grands Prix net als teamgenoot Daniel Ricciardo en de beide Scuderia Toro Rosso-rijders al meermaals de dupe van de problemen bij de Franse motorleverancier. De Renault V6 produceert te weinig kracht en is tot overmaat van ramp ook niet betrouwbaar.

Dat kan zo niet langer, vindt Kvyat. "We willen geen beloftes meer, we willen progressie zien. Het is hoog tijd dat Renault actie onderneemt. Maar ook als team willen we ons verbeteren. Het is een kwestie van goed samenwerken om te bepalen waar vooruitgang te boeken is. Ik kijk daarbij ook in de spiegel en vraag me af waar ik tijd laat liggen. Het is een lang proces en hopelijk plukken we daar spoedig de vruchten van."

"We plannen upgrades voor Spanje, zoals vrijwel elk team. Ik hoop dat we daarmee een stap in de juiste richting zetten. Ik heb vertrouwen dat het team vanaf nu weer een stijgende lijn in kan zetten en dat is ook wel nodig, want tot nu toe ging het meer bergafwaarts."

    Waar is de tijd dat de motoren het hele seisoen door ontwikkeld werden, zonder belemmeringen als het token systeem.

      De deur uit gegaan omdat teveel geld kostte. Daarvoor hebben ze een 1.6 v6 terug gekregen die 10x zoveel kost.

    Joh, Kvyat!
    Als Renault al niet van Max onder de indruk was, hij sloeg tenslotte met zijn vuist op tael, moeten ze nu ineens harder gaan werken omdat jij het zegt?
    *dit was een positieve opmerking over Max, dus graag jullie minnetjes bij jullie houden.*

      Als een Rus het zegt, dan ben ik eerder geneigd om harder te werken dan als een nederlander het zegt. Kijk maar naar de Krim.

    Het begint er op te lijken dat RedBull zijn coureurs in de media laat klagen over Renault. Normaal wordt het niet op prijs gesteld als de coureurs de vuile was buiten hangen, maar nu komt er iedere week weer een andere coureur met zijn beklag in de media. Misschien stuurt RedBull wel aan op een onwerkbare situatie waarbij het vroeg tijdig tot een breuk komt met Renault en ze kunnen overstappen op Mercedes motoren.

    Ja nu weten we het wel en mag het Renault bashen wel afgelopen zijn. Al geeft hij waarschijnlijk gewoon antwoord op een vraag die hem gesteld wordt en kun je hem zn antwoord niet kwalijk nemen.

      Jij bent hier nieuw zo te zien en wellicht niet bekend met enkele gebruikers welke zeer gesteld zijn op juist taal gebruik. Spel- en typefouten worden niet getolereerd.

      Ik ben wellicht van de oude garde, maar ben niet iemand die zich druk maakt om spelfouten/vormfouten.. :-) Mijn spelling is ook verre van perfect overigens haha

      Maar ik dacht ik noem het even op, dan kan de redactie het eventueel aanpassen. En vind het wel grappig, kan er altijd insluipen zulke foutjes als je veel artikelen schrijft/gaat vertalen.

      En ik klonk niet schreeuwerig, jij vatte het zo op blijkt.. Ik ben altijd vrij rustig.

      Maar het was ook meer bedoeld als "normaal reageren bezoekers direct op fouten in het artikel, nog niemand anders opgevallen dit?"
