F1Today.nl houdt u wekelijks op de hoogte van al het racegeweld voor het komende weekend. Dit weekend is het behoorlijk rustig in de racewereld, maar de klassen die er rijden zijn niet de minsten. De DTM zal komend weekend aan haar seizoen beginnen en de Formule 3 Euroseries zal weer als voorprogramma fungeren.

DTM
Het nieuwe seizoen van de Deutsche Tourwagen Masters staat op het punt van beginnen. Na een lange winterstop zullen Mercedes en Audi vanaf komend weekend weer de strijd met elkaar aangaan en proberen de felbegeerde titel te winnen. Zoals gebruikelijk wordt de eerste race van het seizoen verreden op het Duitse circuit van Hockenheim.

Afgelopen twee seizoenen was Timo Scheider de allerbeste en ging de Audi-coureur ervandoor met de titel. Kan de Duitser dit seizoen een hattrick scoren, of gaat Mercedes met bijvoorbeeld Gary Paffett nu wél roet in het eten gooien? Ook wordt het interessant om te zien hoe ex-Formule 1-coureur David Coulthard zal presteren in zijn eerste race, terwijl Ralf Schumacher voor het derde seizoen weer van de partij is.

Kwalificatie & Race:
Kwalificatie: zaterdag 24 april, 13:45 - 14:41 uur
Race: zondag 25 april, 14:00 uur

Formule 3 Euroseries
De Formule 3 Euroseries begint normaal gesproken het seizoen ook op Hockenheim, maar twee weken geleden startte dit seizoen al op Magny-Cours. Helaas rijdt er geen Nederlander in de Euroseries, maar onze zuiderburen zijn wel vertegenwoordigt met Laurens Vanthoor. De Belg had genoeg snelheid in het eerste weekend, maar kende wat pech. Kan hij dit weekend terugslaan?

Kwalificatie & Race:
Kwalificatie: vrijdag 23 april, 17:05 - 17:35 uur
Race 1: zaterdag 24 april, 11:25 - 11:55 uur
Race 2: zondag 25 april, 11:25 - 12:05 uur

Jammer dat er niets wordt vermeldt over het \"gloednieuwe\" AutoGP kampioenschap wat dit weekend van start gaat in Brno Tsjechië...de oude zeer mooie A1GP bolides van seizoen 2005 t/m 2007 met een verbeterd airodynamisch pakket...
Lijkt mij zeker weer een mooie raceklasse...aangezien de Lola\'s met de Zytek motor toch voor mooie acties heeft gezorgd in de A1GP...
