Certificaat voor milieuvriendelijk Sauber verlengd

Het team van Sauber heeft het ISO 14001-certificaat voor het milieuvriendelijk opereren vernieuwd. De Zwitserse renstal ontving dat stempel drie jaar geleden voor het eerst en is zich daarna blijven inspannen om bijvoorbeeld CO2-neutraal te draaien.

De jury oordeelde na een tweedaags bezoek aan de fabriek van Sauber in Hinwil dat het team aan alle eisen voldoet om het ISO 14001-certificaat te verlengen. Teambaas Monisha Kaltenborn: "De hernieuwde uitgave van dit certificaat bewijst dat we met onze organisatie de duurzame bescherming van het milieu geen moment uit het oog verliezen. Het doet ons deugd om meer milieuvriendelijke projecten te starten en we blijven dit onderwerp als prioriteit beschouwen."
