Marciello in Spanje wederom in de Sauber C34

Raffaele Marciello gaat een drukke week tegemoet. De Italiaan zal komend weekend in Spanje naast zijn verplichtingen in de GP2 ook de eerste vrije training in de Formule 1 namens Sauber voor zijn rekening nemen. Marcus Ericsson staat zijn auto af voor de eerste sessie in Barcelona.

In de week na de Spaanse Grand Prix staat ook de eerste van twee tests tijdens het seizoen op het programma. Marciello zal dan opnieuw in actie komen, Sauber laat hem op woensdag testen. De dinsdag is gereserveerd voor Ericsson.

Marciello: "Ik krijg het druk in Spanje, maar het is wel iets waar ik naar uitkijk. Ik geniet van het circuit van Barcelona met de vele snelle en medium-snelle bochten. Na het raceweekend mag ik ook nog een dag testen en dat is waardevol om kilometers te maken en ervaring op te doen."

Dat had Maldonado toch beter geregeld dan Ericsson.

Maar ja, Sauber contracten worden in grote hoeveelheden gedrukt. Het is dus wat lastiger hier persoonlijke wensen in vast te leggen.
