Stewards delen een reprimande uit aan Rosberg

De wedstrijdleiding in Spanje heeft Mercedes-coureur Nico Rosberg een reprimande gegeven voor zijn overtreding van de regels die gelden voor het betreden van de pits. De Duitser dook buiten de pilaar die daar staat om de baan van de pitsingang af te bakenen om naar binnen.

De stewards van de internationale autosportbond FIA stelden dat niet op prijs en startten een onderzoek naar het rijgedrag van Rosberg. Dat kwam de Mercedes-coureur op een vermaning te staan. Het is de eerste reprimande voor de Duitser dit seizoen.

Nee joh... regels zijn voor de katsekut... dit heeft wel degelijk met veiligheid te maken. Mocht hij met deze actie vol tegen de pit muur aan gekomen zijn zou je reactie dan nog hetzelfde zijn?

      Hahaa.. niet verwonderlijk zit het hier vol van kuddebeesten; ongetwijfeld zielige kaaskopjes. Laat de minnetjes maar komen, sukkeltjes.

    Wat ik trouwens wel zou begrijpen is dat ze duidelijk zouden maken dat zoiets tijdens quali of race bestraft zal worden.

      Omdat je er tijdens de race voordeel uit kan halen en het gevaarlijk is met veel wagens op het circuit. Er was niemand in de buurt, en was niet met voorbedachte rade. Aangezien logisch denken zeker geen van uw sterkste kant is is discussieren bij deze ook verder zinloos.

    Ongelooflijk, dadelijk krijg je nog een straf als je te hard rijdt op het rechte stuk.

    Dit soort regels zijn er vooral voor de veiligheid. Er zijn in het verleden wel eens gevalletjes geweest waarbij iemand aanreed tegen een coureur die de pits inging. Sindsdien zijn de pits ingangen aangepast, strepen op de weg gezet en hoef je als coureur niet meer op de baan af te remmen voor je de pit ingaat, maar op de invoegstrook. Maar dan moet je natuurlijk niet de pit ingang missen.
