Gasly ook voor Red Bull Racing in actie bij test

Pierre Gasly gaat een mooie week tegemoet. Morgen stapt de Fransman in de Scuderia Toro Rosso voor de eerste van twee testdagen op het circuit van Barcelona. Een dag later mag Gasly met de auto van grote broer Red Bull Racing aan de slag.

De jonge Fransman behoort tot het opleidingsprogramma van Red Bull. Omdat hij nog geen Grands Prix achter zijn naam heeft in staan komt hij in aanmerking voor de rookie-testdagen. De teams moeten twee van de vier testdagen gedurende het seizoen reserveren voor zulke rookies.

Dat komt wel. Geef hem wat tijd.
Vergeet niet dat hij na zijn titel in de FR 2.0 slechts één seizoen WS 3. gereden heeft om dit jaar in de GP2 mee te dingen voor podiumplaatsen.
En die heeft hij gisteren toch al in zijn 2de GP2 weekend van het seizoen gepakt.
