Enkele DRS-zone voor Grand Prix van Monaco 2015

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de details prijs gegeven voor het gebruik van het Drag Reduction System tijdens de Grand Prix van Monaco van komend weekend. Het circuit van Monte Carlo wordt net als vorig jaar uitgerust met één DRS-zone.

Dat is voor het eerst dit seizoen dat de teams en coureurs met een enkele DRS-zone aan de slag moeten, op de overige circuits waren er telkens twee zones. In Monaco is dat onmogelijk. Het meetpunt bevindt zich vlak na bocht 16. De enige DRS-zone vangt na bocht 19 aan en strekt zich uit over het rechte stuk van start en finish.

Nochtans is zo'n bolide die achterstevoren de tunnel uitschuift richting chicane altijd al goed voor het spektakel geweest.
