Vettel: "Jammer dat de zon niet voor de wolken kwam"

Sebastian Vettel start de Grand Prix van Monaco vanaf de derde positie. De Duitser moest zijn meerdere erkennen in het Mercedes-duo, en dat lag volgens Vettel deels aan het weer. Het was te koel voor de Ferrari's.

"Het is geen maximaal resultaat, maar over het algemeen ben ik tevreden", aldus Vettel. "Het was iets te koel voor ons vandaag en we hadden moeite met het opwarmen van de banden. Het is jammer dat de zon niet voor de wolken kwam."

"Toch was het een goede sessie en de derde plaats is een uitstekende positie om te starten. Het was even spannend toen we in de pits stonden in Q1, maar uiteindelijk ging alles goed voor zowel mij als Kimi. Het was ons doel om ons zo goed mogelijk voor te bereiden op Q3, maar helaas lukte het daar niet Morgen is het een nieuwe dag."

De zon voor de wolken , dan zou het wel heel warm worden op aarde , dan zouden de mensen er na 2 seconden als een croissantje bij lopen ;-)
