Nieuwe wagen Force India komt door de crashtest

Het team van Force India lijkt eindelijk op weg om haar nieuwe auto met veel upgrades, de B-versie, te laten debuteren in Oostenrijk. In de winter liep het team veel vertraging op waardoor coureurs Hulkenberg en Perez hun frustraties uitten over de slechte gang van zaken en magere prestaties van de huidige 2015-auto. Hulkenberg vertelde gisteren in Canada: "Ik ben absoluut ongeduldig tot de nieuwe wagen er is."

Teambaas Bob Fernley deelde de pers mee dat de FIA crashtest met succes is voltooid: "We hebben alle benodigde crashtests deze week met succes voltooid. De eerste test mislukte, maar tijdens de tweede kwam de nieuwe wagen er doorheen. Nu liggen we op schema om tijdens de testsessie in Oostenrijk de wagen voor het eerst op het circuit te kunnen testen."

De test in Oostenrijk zal twee dagen na de Grand Prix plaatsvinden op 23 en 24 juni.
