Williams verwacht een sterk weekend in Oostenrijk

Valtteri Bottas en Felipe Massa hopen volgende week in Oostenrijk hun goede lijn uit Canada door te zetten. Bottas scoorde zes dagen geleden zijn eerste podium van het seizoen, toen hij als derde over de streep kwam in Montréal. In Oostenrijk moet het door een nieuw onderdelenpakket nog beter gaan met de Engelse renstal.

"De baan past bij onze auto," verteld Bottas. "Vorig jaar behaalde ik hier mijn eerste podium, en dit jaar wil ik voor mijn eerste overwinning gaan, ondanks dat ik weet dat dat heel lastig zal worden."

Ook Massa verwacht goede resultaten op de Red Bull Ring: "Het is een circuit waar een efficiënte motor heel erg belangrijk is, en alle wagens met low drag doen het erg goed daar. Normaal gezien is onze wagen eentje die onder die eisen goed kan presteren. Vorig jaar begon ik op pole position in Oostenrijk, en ik hoop dat we dat resultaat dit jaar kunnen herhalen."
