Nico Rosberg wil reeks podiumfinishes in Barcelona doorzetten

Nico Rosberg gaat met een goed gevoel naar de eerste Europese Grand Prix van het seizoen, die in Barcelona. De Duitser kende een erg sterke seizoensstart en pakte in vier races al twee podiumplaatsen en eindigde elke keer al in de top vijf. Rosberg hoopt dat enkele updates hem helpen deze goede reeks voort te zetten.

Door zijn goede resultaten tijdens de eerste vier races staat Rosberg momenteel tweede in het kampioenschap, slechts 10 punten achter leider Jenson Button. "Het is een erg fijn gevoel dat ik naar Europa ga op het moment dat ik tweede in het kampioenschap sta. Daarnaast krijgen we ook nog een significante update op onze auto voor de volgende race", vertelde Rosberg.

"Ik weet dat de mensen op de fabriek erg hard hebben gewerkt en nog altijd hard aan de slag zijn om alles op tijd klaar te krijgen en het zal interessant worden om te zien wat de updates ons opleveren. Doordat we al zo vaak hebben getest in Barcelona kunnen we ons tijdens de trainingen richten op de updates."
