Rosberg tast in het duister over fout in kwalificatie

Nico Rosberg start de Grand Prix van Oostenrijk vanaf de tweede startplaats, maar dat had zonder zijn fout de pole position kunnen zijn. De Duitser was sneller onderweg dan Hamilton, maar in de laatste bocht ging het mis voor Rosberg. Wat er precies gebeurde, weet de Mercedes-coureur niet.

"Ik weet niet precies wat er gebeurde", aldus Rosberg na afloop van de kwalificatie. "Ik kwam op het astroturf in de twee-na-laatste bocht, maar ik verloor de controle in de laatste bocht. Ik denk dat ik anders misschien de pole position had gehad."

"Lewis was tot aan mijn laatste ronde twee tienden sneller, maar ik was tijdens mijn laatste ronde ook twee tienden sneller, dus het was erg spannend geweest. Het is sowieso een erg lastige baan, want de remmen moeten goed op temperatuur zijn en je moet de bochten echt aanvallen. Het is erg uitdagend, maar ook makkelijk om hier een foutje te maken."

Rosberg voorbij Lewis zonder pech of blunders van het team?? Is nog geen 1 x gebeurt sinds ze teamgenoot zijn voor zover ik me kan herinneren...oja Spa 2014 maar dat valt niet onder netjes inhalen.
