Manor F1 Team slaat ook deze testweek over

De tweedaagse test op de Red Bull Ring telt negen in plaats van tien deelnemende teams. Net als in Barcelona laat Manor verstek gaan. De Britse renstal rijdt al anderhalf jaar met in grote lijnen dezelfde auto en ziet het nut er niet van in om daar nog mee te testen.

Manor-directeur Graeme Lowdon verkondigde aan Autosport: "Het is de verkeerde test op het verkeerde moment op de verkeerde plek voor ons. De focus van onze ontwikkeling is momenteel toegespitst op andere dingen."

"Door de chaotische manier waarop ons seizoen is gestart loopt ons schema een beetje mank in vergelijking met dat van de overige teams. Daardoor is de waarde van deze test voor ons kleiner dan voor de andere renstallen en zullen we niet van de partij zijn."
