Williams, Bottas zwijgen over transfergeruchten

Het team van Williams gaat niet in op de verhalen dat het een bod van Ferrari op coureur Valtteri Bottas heeft ontvangen. Globo zocht contact met de Britse renstal, maar de equipe uit Grove geeft nooit commentaar op (transfer)geruchten en doet dat nu ook niet.

Bottas houdt zich in Turun Sanomat eveneens op de vlakte. "In de Formule 1 wordt altijd druk gespeculeerd. Voor mij is niks veranderd. Ik concentreer me op dit seizoen, dat is voor het team en voor mij het beste. We zullen later wel te weten komen wat er gaat gebeuren."

De Fin is bij Ferrari in beeld om landgenoot Kimi Raikkonen te vervangen. Volgens Pino Allievi van het toonaangevende Gazzetta dello Sport is Raikkonen nog niet kansloos voor een nieuw contract. "Maar Ferrari eist wel snel een verbetering van zijn resultaten."

"Ze wachten al bijna twee jaar. Ferrari heeft geduld betracht en loyaliteit getoond, en ze hebben alles gedaan om Kimi te helpen. Er is alleen weinig vooruitgang zichtbaar. Met optredens zoals in Oostenrijk is een langer verblijf voor Raikkonen onmogelijk, maar Ferrari schuift de beslissing nog even voor zich uit."

Is Bottas dan echt zoveel beter dan Massa? Zeker is hij erg goed, maar ik mis toch wat bij Bottas.

      @ctra...ohw als Jean Alesi copyright had op die zin, dan spijt me dat van harte miss CTRA.....maar ik lees niet alle opmerkingen, dus nogmaals mijn excuses...maar om antwoord te geven, nee ik word daar niet moe van want algeheel is dat het niveau van dit forum...dus ik pas me aan. Want bij de meeste opmerkingen is dat altijd waar het naar toe gaat...dus ik dacht het even voor te zijn. Maar goed dat je het allemaal bijhoudt...hulde!!

      Het heeft in ieder geval ook iets met wederzijds respect te maken.
      Misschien kan je dat ook laten blijken in je reacties i.p.v. het over het niveau van anderen te hebben.

      ehm..een Ferrari..?

      Serieus, ik vermoed dat deze geruchten toch wel ergens schurken aan waarheid.
      Massa en Kimi lopen tegen de houdbaarheidsdatum, beide misschien nog 1 seizoen, hoewel ik de kans dat Kimi door mag bij Ferrari echt klein.

      Het is zoals veel coureurs, ze laten een jaar echt een mooi stukje van hun kunnen zien en daarna vakt het tegen. Kijk naar Ricciardo, maar ik schat Bottas wel hoger in dan Ricciardo om eerlijk te zijn.

      Hij hoeft niet zoveel beter te zijn, maar als hij net als Massa destijds maar voldoende punten scoort om mee te doen in het constructeur-kampioenschap. Als dat minimaal lukt dan kan hij nog jaren mee bij Ferrari.
