Marciello vrijdag in training in actie voor Sauber

Sauber gunt Raffaele Marciello vrijdag zijn derde vrije training van dit jaar. De Italiaanse test- en reserverijker neemt in de eerste sessie voor de Britse Grand Prix de plek in van Marcus Ericsson. Eerder dit seizoen kwam Marciello in Maleisië en Spanje in actie voor Sauber.

Vorige week nam hij ook een testdag op de Red Bull Ring voor zijn rekening. Marciello: "Ik verheug me op mijn volgende vrije training bij een Grand Prix. Over het algemeen kunnen snelle circuits me wel bekoren en Silverstone behoort tot mijn favoriete banen."

"Het gedeelte met Becketts is altijd een uitdaging. Het doet me deugd om de Sauber C34 met Ferrari-aandrijving weer te besturen. Mijn derde vrijdagtraining van het jaar, na Sepang en Barcelona. In combinatie met mijn GP2-verplichtingen staat me een druk weekend te wachten."
