Red Bull Racing-coureur Sebastian Vettel werkt zelfverzekerd toe naar de Spaanse Grand Prix van aanstaande zondag op het circuit van Barcelona. De Duitser maakt zich niet zo druk om de concurrentie, maar wel om de weersomstandigheden. Vettel op de vraag wat hij het meest vreest voor komend weekend: Het weer!

Hij gaat verder: De vorige Grand Prix was vrij chaotisch en wij hopen op een rustige zondag. Het helpt niet als het elke vijf minuten regent en dan weer stopt. Maar ook dan moet je goed werk afleveren en dat is ons de vorige keer niet gelukt. We zien wel waar we hier toe in staat zijn. McLaren, Ferrari en Mercedes GP ogen alle drie sterk. Het staat dicht op elkaar. Wij zullen een stap maken, maar alles hangt af van wat de rest doet. Als wij een halve seconde tijdwinst boeken, dan is dat geweldig, maar niets waard als de anderen een seconde harder gaan.
