Force India-coureur Nico Hülkenberg nam maandag een verdiende dag vrij. De Duitser had het de afgelopen weken druk met de 24 uur van Le Mans en Grands Prix in Canada, Oostenrijk en Groot-Brittannië. Hij besteedde zijn vrije dag op de tribunes bij Wimbledon. Hülkenberg is een tennisliefhebber. Sky Sports Italia zocht hem in de aanloop naar het weekend op de Red Bull Ring op voor een tennispartij tegen analist Davide Valsecchi.
