Red Bull merk met meeste naamsbekendheid in F1

Red Bull klaagt steen en been over de Formule 1, maar marketingtechnisch is het nog altijd een gouden greep om in de koningsklasse van de autosport actief te zijn. De energiedrankenfabrikant heeft namelijk de meeste naamsbekendheid van alle sponsors in de Formule 1. Dat bleek uit het fanonderzoek van rijdersvakbond GPDA in samenwerking met Motorsport.com.

Daaruit kwam naar voren dat het merk Red Bull onder de Formule 1-volgers veel bekendheid geniet. Bijna de helft van de respondenten noemde de energiefabrikanten bij de vijf namen van sponsors die ze op moesten geven. Shell en Marlboro volgen op gepaste afstand van Red Bull op plekken twee en drie. Het verschil tussen Red Bull en Shell bedroeg bijna twintig procent.

Red Bull Racing-teambaas Christian Horner: "Ten eerste, dit is de reden waarom Red Bull in de Formule 1 actief is. Om aandacht op het merk te vestigen. Deze resultaten zijn dan ook geweldig, helemaal door het grote gat naar andere gerenommeerde merken. Red Bull is een mooie toevoeging voor de Formule 1. Deze sport is meer dan alleen Ferrari. Deze uitkomst demonstreert de kracht van ons merk."

Voor Martini pakt de terugkeer naar de Formule 1 ook goed uit. Pas sinds 2014 aan Williams verbonden, maar 22 procent van de ondervraagden namen Martini wel op in hun antwoorden. Claire Williams: "Het is geweldig om te zien dat een sponsor binnen zo'n korte tijd al zoveel bekendheid kan verwerven. Dat toon aan dat Williams Martini Racing iets goed doet."

Apart dat Ferrari en Mercedes hier niet genoemd worden. Want Red Bull is meer dan een sponsor namelijk, het is een compleet team.
Maar met 4 auto's die de bekende stier op de zijkant hebben staan is het niet heel raar dat ze veel aandacht genereren.

  Inderdaad bijzonder. Helemaal Ferrari is een naam die iedereen wel als eerste tebinnen zou moeten schieten. Wat ik me wel kan voorstellen is dat mensen Ferrari niet zien als een product/merk maar zien als een team. RedBull staat wel echt voor een product (dat ene drankje) en heeft toevallig ook een raceteam, waardoor het als sponsor de meeste naamsbekendheid heeft (Ferrari is in feite geen sponsor. Of misschien wel, maar ligt wat ingewikkelder:P). Ik denk dat je het vooral zo zou moeten zien.

  De vraag was vrij eenvoudig:
  
  Noem actieve sponsoren in de F1. En Ferrari en Mercedes zijn geen sponsoren maar fabrikanten en teams. Daar in tegen is RedBull een team en tevens sponsor.
