Lucas di Grassi ook in Monaco met oude versie van VR-01

Virgin Racing-coureur Lucas di Grassi moet het in Monaco opnieuw doen zonder de upgrades aan de VR-01 waar teamgenoot Timo Glock wel over beschikt. Toch verheugt de Braziliaan zich op zijn eerst Formule 1-race op het stratencircuit in het prinsdom.

Di Grassi: Ik kijk uit naar de eerste keer van ons team in Monaco en mijn Formule 1-debuut op dit ongelofelijke en historische circuit. Ik genoot in de opstapklasses al van deze baan, nu zal het helemaal speciaal zijn. De opdracht zal opnieuw zijn om er het beste van te maken, want ik krijg pas in Turkije de verbeterde versie van de VR-01. Maar ik ben tevreden met wat ik Spanje heb laten zien en ik ben optimistisch dat we in Monaco goed voor de dag kunnen komen.
